Outfit: Retro Skirt

Hi all, how’s your week going?

***

I am super excited to share with you this new skirt that I acquired from a wonderful company called Fleet Collection. They are based right here in LA, and design the most incredibly gorgeous dresses and skirts. (And you know how I like me some of those :))

I fell in love with this Aggie Skirt in Emerald the moment I saw it on their website. The retro print is so cool; I knew it had to be paired with this Anthropologie cardigan I’ve been trying to style for quite some time now.

You can’t imagine how many compliments I received this day, and I truly think it’s because of how unique and feminine it made me feel. Perhaps the confidence level is what resonated with people, and I will always stand firm on the fact that a great skirt or dress can do that for ya!

Imagine this: I walked around Santa Monica in these heels for hours just so I didn’t have to change my outfit. Dedication!***

Thank you to Fleet Collection for making women feel beautiful. I hope you check them out!

Happy Friday!

I was going through some of my spring/summer pieces that I’ve stored away, and was excited to find this dress from Anthropologie that I got a couple years ago. It’s still one of Kyle’s favorites, so it will always be a little special to me.

I hope you’re not tired of the hat and shoes either. Oh well, I think we need to have items that make us happy. I’m pretty certain that our whole wardrobe should bring us joy!

Have an awesome weekend with joy-filled outfits.

Choosing Prints

Hi guys! Question for you: How do you choose between 2 equally great prints?

I was in search for a nice spring/summer dress that I could wear to a few upcoming weddings and events. (Am I the only one who refuses to go out shopping for every special occasion?) I wanted this one to be my go-to dress for “fancier” occasions. I know you know the feeling of having to rush last minute to find something to wear. I wanted to avoid that completely, and luckily I found this gorgeous one from Eva Mendes’s new line for New York & Company.

The fit is perfect - arm holes not too loose which tends to happen to me, the length is just right, and the belt hits at the right place. Winner all the way around, but then I saw this other print!

So what do you do when you can’t choose between 2 prints? Still trying to streamline the process of elimination. I did go with the blue one because navy is my go-to color, but I did want to take pictures in case I needed another opinion. Maybe that can be a way to help us choose - ask the hubby!

Easter Wishes!

Happy Easter, all you chocoholics! I hope you find tons of eggs filled with your favorite sweets!

My day will surely consist of sunshine, family, honey-glazed ham, deviled eggs, watermelon and snooping through the kid’s candy baskets.

And I also hope that you dressed up a little more “special” today. Not a dress or skirt fanatic? Well, let today be your oyster!
